Malik, 45, has been participating in sports competitions since 2006, and has won 58 gold medals at the national level and 18 at the international level. She’s always loved sports, which for her, is “a lifestyle, a culture”.
Jhajharia is the first Indian para athlete to have been conferred in 2012 with Padma Shri, the country’s fourth highest civilian award. He was conferred with Arjuna Award in 2004.
